Is the role of film funds and regional film funds, the producer networks, or the mediation of the festivals most significant in this? As a follow-up of the 2009 Mediawave distribution panorama, national distributors will again sit down in 2010 to discuss what changed during the past year.

NEW FILM GENERATIONS – REGIONAL INITIATIVES
13 - 14:30 PASSPORT CONTROL 18 – MEDIAWAVE International Film and Photo Workshop presentation

MEDIAWAVE festival and Regional Film Fund Győr finds it important to train young filmmaker and photographer generations in workshops where coproductions and cooperations are also shown in practice. MEDIAWAVE festival and Film Fund Győr is looking for partners for a long-term international seminar and workshop, providing training in coproduction in theory and through the progress of filmmaking in practice, to be funded by MEDIA programme.
Those interested can see the results of the beginner’s film and photo workshop week held during the festival.
