USEFUL INFORMATION AND CURIOSITIES :: SZÉCHENYI HEAT

The Széchenyi Heat 

is the heat of alternative power-driven vehicles built with minimal expences from recycled materials and using the energy of sun and hidrogen (for example potato power-driven bike).
The event is requiring the most creativity of the students of SZÉCHENYI ISTVÁN University from Győr. The heat is open to anyone, the only rule is that the vehicle cannot use fosil fuel.

The SZÉCHENYI ISTVÁN University from Győr provides a variety of formation and education of the region. Besides the enginiering sciences from the begining of the 1990's they introduced the education of economic sciences, medicine and social education. In 1995, the Eötvös Loránd University of Sciences tranfered the program of law education to the city of Győr, and from 2002 the major become part of the education of the SZÉCHENYI ISTVÁN University. By integrating the faculty of Teacher Training of Music School of Liszt Ferenc University of Music in 1995 it was estabilished a real universitas in Győr which by the number of the students, the scientific quality of the teaching staff and the variety of formation supply at 1st of January 2002 got the university status. The Foundation of Universitas-Győr had had an important role in the success. The foundation helps the establishment of the scientific background of the university of Győr by offering schoolarships and covering expences.
