Coproduction 2008

 
The Motion Picture Public Foundation of Hungary acting on the previous years's practice, would like to support coproductions carrying cultural values which are competitive on the Hungarian as well as the European and international market and which are produced with the involvement of film makers from different countries.

Synopsys Application

The applicant should send a minimum of 1 page and maximum of 2 pages long synopsys. The topic is not defined and everyone can participate without age limit. Each applicant can send only one application.

  
Tenderer: Hungarian Television and Film Art Association
Prize: The winner of the application can attend the Film Aestetics and Screenplay Writer course of the Association for free. The Association offers the membership to the Association for one year.

Synopsys, Film Novel and Screenply-Writing Application

The application supports the genres of documentary, short fiction, animation and feature films. The aim of the application is to collect film plans which can be realised in Győr and in its region. We also await for applications regarding the facilities of the wider, West-Hungarian region.

The Filmfund Győr will sign a two-year contract with the winners and it will take care of the realisation of the plans on the level of production. The applications should be sent on one printed copy and also digitally on CD to the following address: FILMFUND GYŐR, 9001 Győr Pf. 668.

Motion Picture Department

1 Feature film production and preparation

Only those film makers can apply who had already won the screenplay support of the Fund.

2 Animation Production

Only those film makers can apply who had already won the screenplay support of the Fund.

3 DVD edition of documentary films

Documentary films which can be used for educational puposes made in 2007 and 2008.

4 Invitation application for the Support of the Theatre and Film Art University

5 Invitation application to support the graduating students at the animation and video faculty of the Moholy-Nagy Art University

6 Support for film events

The application supports Hungarian, regional and interregional Hungarian events like film week, festival, presentation, etc. held between September 1, 2008 - 31 December, 2008

7 Support for cinemas outside Budapest to improve their connections and promotion

Support for those cinemas the programmes of which include art films. It is for brochures, local promotion with the aim to develop motion picture culture.

8 Selective support for Hungarian film production

It completes the normative support of Motion Picture Public Foundation of Hungary to distribute Hungarian films presented in 2008.
